Frontline Video Response

The video's examination of how the news industry is changing is presented in two different views. The age of news audiences is changing. Frontline producers think that news should give people what they want to hear. The video showed clips about provacative and sexual news reporting. One clip showed how mothers and students stripped to earn extra money. From my perspective, I was a little bit disturbed by the content of what they considered "news."

However, at the same time I agree with what the producer of Frontline said, "It's still news, it's just a broader form. You have to have a news division to what is important to others." I think that the producer is correct. Many people have different views on what they think is news worthy or important to them. I think that the style and the way news is presented may not be seen as appropriate to some, but at the same time, one must consider other people's opinions and what they value as news.
